The lavender in the foreground is still with us, but the tree in the middle is now gone. It grew too big and covered the footpath, it also housed many ants and wasps, as well as other little creatures within it's own ecosystem. The tree in our neighbour's garden has been decapitated and looks rather sad and ugly now.
I especially like the way this photo captures the falling snow and the orange sky in the background.
