Salford Quays Exhibition at Macclesfield Library 7 to 12 April 2014

This is my first solo exhibition.  I have displayed some of my artworks along with other artist at a few exhibitions, and I have my work displayed at Victoria Mill in Congleton, but this is the first time I have booked a venue and put up my work in public on my own.  I feel a sense of accomplishment and hope to learn a few things about exhibiting my work for future reference.

Admiral in A Glass

 While sitting in a little country pub I noticed the distorted image from the leaflet through the glass.
 

The pub is The Admiral Rodney in Prestbury, Cheshire.

 

A Nice Place to Bee Asleep

This little bee was minding its own business, when I came along with my Pentax Optio 6.0 megapixels camera. 

Up Town LA 2009

Here I was in the gardens of my hotel in Los Angeles, looking up at the beautiful glass skyscrapers.  Yes, a lot of glass and concrete, but spectacular all the same.

Here are 3 images I made on my recent art course of the photograph of the moss striped tree.

Moss Striped Tree

This tree caught my eye with it's beautiful shades of green.

Rain water faling down the trunk has helped moss to grow in various thicknesses and produced this brilliant effect.
